3 -Os acordos e contratos celebrados entre operadores económicos das Partes Contratantes, no âmbito do presente Acordo, continuarão válidos, de acordo com a sua relevância, após a cessação do mesmo.
Feito em duplicado, em Lisboa, em 9 de Fevereiro de 2001, nas línguas portuguesa, eslovaca a inglesa, sendo os três textos igualmente válidos. Em caso de divergência, o texto inglês prevalecerá.

AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE GOVERNMENT OF THE PORTUGUESE REPUBLIC AND THE GOVERNMENT OF THE SLOVAK REPUBLIC ON ECONOMIC, INDUSTRIAL AND TECHNOLOGICAL CO-OPERATION.
The Government of the Portuguese Republic and the Government of the Slovak Republic hereinafter referred to as «the Contracting Parties»:
Desiring to secure and strengthen the friendly relations between the two countries and their peoples, on the basis of mutual respect for sovereignty, independence, territorial integrity and non-interference in their internal affairs;
Wishing to promote the development of economic, industrial and technological co-operation between them, in areas of mutual interest, on the basis of equality, mutual benefit and reciprocity;
Recognising the importance of long term measures for the successful development of the co-operation and the strengthening of ties between them at various levels, and, in particular, at the level of their economic operators;
Bearing in mind the European Agreement creating an Association between the European Communities and the Slovak Republic signed on 1993;
Taking into account the provisions of the World Trade Organisation of which the two countries are parties;
In accordance with internal legislation and the international obligations of the two countries;
have agreed as follows:
