O presente Acordo de modificação entrará em vigor, observando-se os mesmos procedimentos e na mesma data do Acordo acima referido, com o efeito que este último conterá a redacção alterada na data da sua entrada em vigor.
Feito em Lisboa, a 25 de Setembro de 2009 em duplicado, nas línguas portuguesa, alemã e inglesa, sendo os três textos autênticos. Em caso de divergência de interpretação dos textos português e alemão, prevalecerá o texto em inglês.

ARRANGEMENT BETWEEN THE PORTUGUESE REPUBLIC AND THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF GERMANY TO AMEND THE AGREEMENT OF 8 FEBRUARY 2006 ABOUT THE ACCOUNTABILITY OF PORTUGUESE SECURITY STOCKS OF CRUDE OIL AND PETROLEUM PRODUCTS HELD ON THE TERRITORY OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF GERMANY.
The Portuguese Republic and the Federal Republic of Germany,
Anxious to bring the Agreement between the Federal Republic of Germany and the Portuguese Republic about the Accountability of Portuguese Security Stocks of Crude Oil and Petroleum Products held on the Territory of the Federal Republic of Germany, which was signed in Berlin on 8 February 2006, in line with the requirements of Directive No 68/414/EEC as amended by Council Directive 98/93/EC, as repealed by Directive 2006/67/EC, of 24 July 2006,
Have agreed as follows:
Article 1
The words "or co-own" after "on condition that they own" in Article 2 of the Agreement shall be deleted.
Article 2
This Arrangement shall enter into force under the same procedures for the entry into force of the Agreement and on the same day with the effect that the Agreement shall contain the amended wording on the day of its entry into force.
Done at Lisbon on the 25th of September 2009 in duplicate in the Portuguese, German and English languages, all texts being authentic. In case of divergent interpretations of the Portuguese and German texts, the English text shall prevail.
